Connecting to Betaflight

This section walks you through your first successful connection.

Install Betaflight Configurator​

  • Download Betaflight Configurator from the official Betaflight website
  • Install the latest stable version
  • Launch the application

Connecting the FCU​

  • Connect SAMPATHI 1 to your computer using a USB cable
  • Open Betaflight Configurator
  • Select the detected COM/USB port
  • Click Connect

ℹ️ If successful, you will see live sensor data on screen.

First Connection Checklist​

After connecting:

  • Confirm firmware version is shown
  • Confirm sensors are detected
  • Confirm no error messages are displayed

ℹ️ If the FCU does not connect, refer to the Troubleshooting section later in this guide.

Saving Configuration Safely​

  • Always click Save and Reboot after making changes
  • Do not disconnect power during firmware flashing
  • Wait for reboot confirmation before reconnecting
