Safety, Handling, and ESD
Safety Warnings
JTA-01 is a professional flight control device. Improper use can result in:
- Loss of vehicle control
- Damage to property
- Personal injury
Always observe the following safety rules:
- Remove propellers before configuration or bench testing
- Do not power the system with motors connected during setup
- Perform firmware configuration and calibration in a controlled environment
- Verify failsafe behaviour before flight
JTA-01 does not include mechanical safety interlocks. Safe operation depends on correct system integration and configuration.
ESD and Handling Precautions
JTA-01 contains sensitive electronic components that can be damaged by electrostatic discharge.
Recommended precautions:
- Handle the board only by its edges
- Avoid touching exposed connectors and components
- Use ESD-safe work surfaces and wrist straps where possible
- Store the unit in anti-static packaging when not installed
Do not operate or store the unit in environments with excessive moisture, conductive dust, or corrosive vapours.
Power and Polarity Precautions
- Always verify power source voltage before connection
- Never reverse power polarity
- Use only regulated power sources within the specified voltage range
- Do not hot-plug high-current power connectors
Incorrect power application can permanently damage the flight controller and connected peripherals.
